A Modern Family Garden in Bishops Stortford

This modern house needed to nestle into its surrounding landscape.

The existing garden was boring to look at and the house hadn’t nestled into the surrounding landscape.

Using mature planting and carving the main terraces up into different sections our clients were super happy with the end result.

The new terraces which surrounded the house provided a walkway and created a more exciting want to explore the garden.

We levelled the lawn, surrounding it with new retaining walls, a grass bank and grand stairs. Its now the perfect place for garden games.

We created a walkway under a modern pergola, a dining terrace and a chill out area with a beautiful water feature, which could be seen from inside the house.

The new hard landscaping was nestled instantly into the surrounding garden using mature shrubs and trees.
