A romantic garden in Harrow.
Our clients were approaching their 25th wedding anniversary and had a decision to make: celebrate with a world cruise or a new, romantic garden. They chose this delightful garden.
This garden is full of contrast and enchanting detail. The exotic centrepiece a 21st century version of an Indian loveseat recreated in Ipe hardwood. The terrace with softly coloured Simyra limestone flanked by Ipe decking.
The contemplation pool and a deep, rusty Corten tank filled with still water. The fencing is classic cedar slats with coloured infill panels. All combine together to produce something rather special.
Luxuriant planting sets off the hard landscaping detail and completes the scheme. The beech hedging provides a screen to the garage behind and makes the eye wonder what’s beyond. Box balls, wild grasses and Echinacea give the garden a warm glow.
