Trinity Rise

Small projects

York stone and hardwood in Tulse Hill.

Small but beautifully formed. Precision cut ‘Scout’ York stone, white painted rendered walls and dark brown South American hardwood combine to create a crisp and timeless outdoor space.

Landscape Designer: The design was copied from a photo supplied by our client.

Construction and Project Management: Ian James Landscapes

New masonry walls were built along the left boundary and across the rear to form a planter, then rendered and painted.

The stone was perfectly cut by Bingley Stone in Yorkshire and the scheme was framed by Balau decking and slatted fencing.

A ‘floating’ seat welcomed visitors, and Box hedging, planting and garden lighting completed the scheme.

Construction was a challenge. Access to the garden was through the house with restricted working space in the garden and no room for on-site storage.

The high end materials had to be brought to site exactly when they were needed so effective project management was vital to the success of the project.
